📌 Key Responsibilities

• Carry out daily preventive maintenance tasks for electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical equipment.
• Respond to room maintenance requests from housekeeping and front office within prescribed response time standards.
• Repair and maintain electrical fixtures, switches, lighting, and in-room entertainment equipment in guest rooms.
• Service air conditioning units, fan coil units, and central HVAC systems to ensure guest room comfort.
• Perform plumbing repairs including tap washer replacement, drain unblocking, and shower fitting maintenance.
• Inspect and test emergency systems including fire alarms, sprinklers, emergency lighting, and generator sets.
• Maintain maintenance logbooks, job completion records, and report major repair requirements to the Chief Engineer.

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• ITI certificate or Diploma in Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC, or Mechanical Engineering from a recognised polytechnic.
• 1 to 5 years of hotel maintenance experience or equivalent experience in facility management or industrial maintenance.
• Practical knowledge of electrical systems, HVAC servicing, plumbing repairs, and general building maintenance.
• Ability to respond quickly to guest room maintenance requests and complete repairs with minimal room disturbance.
• Knowledge of hotel safety systems including fire alarms, emergency lighting, and generator operation.
• Tamil Nadu Electrical Board licensing or HVAC servicing certification is an advantage for Coimbatore hotel positions.
• Good physical fitness and ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and during night or on-call shifts.
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Coimbatore.
