📌 Key Responsibilities

• Handle marine cargo and transit insurance for export, import, and inland movement shipments
• Process open cover declarations, specific voyage policies, and annual marine cargo endorsements
• Assess marine cargo risk based on commodity, packing, route, and conveyance details
• Coordinate marine cargo claims including survey appointment, loss report review, and settlement
• Liaise with importers, exporters, freight forwarders, and banks for marine insurance documentation
• Ensure compliance with International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) clauses and IRDAI marine guidelines
• Prepare marine premium statements, loss ratios, and portfolio performance reports

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• B.Com/MBA in Finance or International Trade with 2-6 years of marine insurance experience
• Good knowledge of marine cargo clauses (Institute Cargo Clauses A, B, C) and ICC terms
• Understanding of Incoterms 2020, Letter of Credit documentation, and trade finance
• Familiarity with port operations, shipping terms, and commodity-specific risk factors
• Knowledge of hull insurance for coastal and inland vessels preferred
• Good communication skills for export/import client interaction in Coimbatore's trade ecosystem
• FIII or AIII in Marine from Insurance Institute of India preferred
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Coimbatore.
