📋 Job Description

📌 Key Responsibilities

• Perform end-of-day PMS audit to close the hotel's financial day and generate daily revenue reports.
• Reconcile room revenue, food and beverage postings, and other departmental charges against daily transaction records.
• Verify and post room rates, applicable taxes, and charges to all occupied guest folios accurately.
• Process no-shows, cancellations, and early departures during the night shift as per hotel policies.
• Manage front desk operations during the night shift including guest check-ins, check-outs, and enquiries.
• Prepare end-of-day reports including occupancy summary, revenue summary, and accounts receivable ageing for management.
• Conduct shift handover with the morning shift team providing a full summary of night audit outcomes and pending items.

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• Hotel Management degree from an IHM-affiliated or recognised institute with accounts or finance exposure.
• 1 to 4 years of experience in hotel front office with prior night audit or accounts exposure preferred.
• Proficiency in hotel PMS such as Opera or IDS for end-of-day processing and revenue reporting.
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles, revenue reconciliation, and financial report generation.
• Willingness to work permanent night shifts (typically 11 PM to 7 AM) as a primary job requirement.
• Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy for audit reconciliation and billing verification.
• Good English communication and interpersonal skills for handling overnight guest interactions.
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Coimbatore.
