📌 Key Responsibilities

• Build and fine-tune NLP models for tasks including text classification, NER, summarisation, and question answering
• Implement and optimise Transformer-based models using the Hugging Face ecosystem
• Design and maintain NLP data pipelines for tokenisation, preprocessing, and dataset curation
• Evaluate model performance on benchmark datasets and domain-specific test sets
• Collaborate with product teams to integrate NLP capabilities into product features and APIs
• Research and adapt recent NLP techniques from academic literature to production applications
• Monitor deployed NLP models and manage re-training pipelines to handle distributional shift

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• M.Sc. or B.E. in Computer Science with 2 to 6 years of NLP engineering experience
• Strong proficiency with Transformer architectures and Hugging Face libraries
• Hands-on experience fine-tuning BERT, RoBERTa, or similar encoder models for classification and extraction tasks
• Understanding of tokenisation strategies, attention mechanisms, and pre-training objectives
• Ability to evaluate NLP systems using metrics such as F1, BLEU, ROUGE, and BERTScore
• Familiarity with data labelling workflows and annotation quality control for NLP datasets
• Good software engineering practices including testing, documentation, and version control
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Coimbatore.
