📌 Key Responsibilities

• Manage NRI customer relationships and assist them with account opening, fund remittance, and banking service requests.
• Advise NRI customers on NRE, NRO, and FCNR deposit products and help them choose suitable options.
• Process inward remittances from abroad for NRI customers and facilitate fund transfers to linked accounts.
• Assist NRI customers with repatriation of funds from NRO accounts as per FEMA limits and procedures.
• Ensure KYC documentation for NRI accounts complies with RBI guidelines including overseas address proof and visa details.
• Cross-sell insurance, investment products, and home loans to NRI customers based on their financial goals.
• Coordinate with the bank's NRI cell, treasury, and compliance teams to resolve complex NRI service requests.

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• Graduate in any stream from a recognised university.
• One to four years of experience in NRI banking, international remittances, or FEMA compliance.
• Strong knowledge of NRE, NRO, and FCNR account types and their tax and repatriation implications.
• Familiarity with FEMA regulations governing NRI investments in India including real estate and capital market norms.
• Good communication skills to interact with NRI customers across time zones via phone and email.
• Knowledge of KYC norms specific to NRI customers including FATCA and CRS obligations.
• Prior experience handling NRI desk at a private bank or large foreign bank branch is preferred.
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Coimbatore.
