📌 Key Responsibilities

• Manage implanted port access, flushing, and dressing for chemotherapy patients at home
• Monitor patients for chemotherapy side effects including nausea, mucositis, neuropathy, and fatigue
• Administer supportive medications, anti-emetics, and pain management as per oncologist orders
• Provide palliative and comfort care for patients in advanced or terminal stages of cancer
• Educate patient families on symptom management, nutrition, and caregiver self-care
• Coordinate with the oncologist or palliative physician for treatment plan review and dose adjustments
• Provide emotional and psychological support to patient and family during the care journey
• Document all clinical findings, symptom scores, and medication administration accurately after each visit

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• Do you have clinical experience in oncology nursing in a hospital or home care setting?
• Have you managed chemotherapy port access and maintenance in home or clinical environments?
• Are you trained in palliative care and end-of-life symptom management?
• Can you assess and manage pain, nausea, and chemotherapy-related toxicities in home patients?
• Have you provided emotional support and counselling to cancer patients and their families?
• Are you comfortable handling difficult conversations about disease progression and end-of-life goals?
• Do you have experience coordinating care with oncologists and palliative care physicians?
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Coimbatore.

GNM or B.Sc.
