📌 Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end daily transport operations across all active fleet contracts and client accounts
• Monitor trip costs, fuel efficiency, vehicle utilisation, and driver performance across the fleet
• Ensure all client SLA parameters including delivery timelines, POD rates, and complaint TAT are met
• Manage vendor relationships including vehicle hire vendors, workshop contractors, and fuel suppliers
• Drive continuous route optimisation and cost reduction initiatives with the planning and dispatch teams
• Prepare weekly and monthly operations MIS including revenue, trip cost, utilisation, and SLA scorecards
• Lead and develop the transport coordinator, fleet supervisor, and dispatch executive team
• Resolve major client escalations, driver disputes, and breakdown crises at operations level

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• Have you managed transport fleet operations for multiple client contracts simultaneously?
• Do you have experience monitoring and controlling trip costs, fuel efficiency, and vehicle utilisation?
• Have you managed client SLA performance and prepared monthly operations scorecards?
• Do you have experience managing driver teams, vendor contracts, and workshop relationships?
• Can you lead route optimisation initiatives and drive cost reduction in fleet operations?
• Have you prepared P and L or cost tracking reports for transport contracts?
• Do you have experience managing and developing a team of coordinators, supervisors, and dispatch executives?
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Coimbatore.

🏆 Certifications and Qualifications

Heavy Vehicle Driving Licence (HMV) for truck and bus driver roles; Light Vehicle Driving Licence (LMV) for car and van driver roles; badge (permit card) from RTO for commercial vehicle drivers; knowledge of Tamil Nadu Motor Vehicles Act and CMVR for transport coordinator roles; Diploma or Graduate for operations and coordinator roles; GPS fleet tracking software familiarity for fleet supervisor roles; knowledge of e-way bill and lorry receipt documentation for dispatch roles; Graduate or MBA for transport manager and operations head roles
