📌 Key Responsibilities

• Create PCB layouts from schematics in Altium Designer or KiCad for 2-layer to 8-layer boards
• Apply impedance control and stack-up design for high-speed digital signals
• Follow DFM (Design for Manufacturability) rules to ensure production-ready PCB output
• Run DRC and ERC checks and resolve violations before Gerber generation
• Manage component footprints and maintain a centralised PCB library
• Coordinate with manufacturing vendors for Gerber, BOM, and assembly drawing submissions
• Support design revisions and ECO updates to existing PCB layouts

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• How do you route differential pairs for USB 2.0 while maintaining 90-ohm impedance?
• What stack-up would you choose for a 4-layer PCB with a 3.3V digital layer and a ground plane?
• How do you place decoupling capacitors relative to an SoC power pin in layout?
• What DFM checks do you apply before releasing Gerbers to a PCB fabrication house?
• How do you minimise crosstalk between high-speed signal traces in a dense layout?
• Have you submitted Gerbers to a PCB manufacturer and resolved fabrication queries?
• How do you handle thermal relief connections for a high-current power pad?
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Coimbatore.
