📌 Key Responsibilities

• Design and execute load, stress, soak, and spike performance tests for the company's SaaS platform using JMeter, k6, or Gatling.
• Define performance test objectives, SLA benchmarks, and success criteria in collaboration with engineering and product stakeholders.
• Analyse test results to identify bottlenecks at the application, database, network, and infrastructure layers.
• Set up and configure performance monitoring dashboards using Grafana, InfluxDB, Prometheus, or APM tools to track system behaviour under load.
• Identify slow SQL queries, N+1 issues, and inefficient ORM patterns and work with backend engineers to resolve them.
• Integrate performance test suites into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous performance regression detection.
• Produce clear performance test reports with recommendations for optimisation, communicating findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• B.E. or B.Tech in Computer Science or IT with two to six years of software performance testing experience.
• Hands-on proficiency with at least two performance testing tools: Apache JMeter, k6, or Gatling.
• Experience designing realistic load profiles, think times, ramp-up strategies, and test scenarios for web and API-based products.
• Familiarity with performance monitoring and observability tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, New Relic, or Dynatrace.
• Ability to read and interpret thread dumps, heap dumps, and GC logs to assist in root cause analysis of performance failures.
• Understanding of database performance concepts including query plans, index optimisation, and connection pooling.
• Experience integrating performance tests into Jenkins or GitHub Actions pipelines and setting automated performance gates.
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Coimbatore.
