📌 Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage the complete production budget for Tamil film projects in co-ordination with the producer and line producer
• Build detailed shooting schedules by working with the director and AD team to sequence scenes efficiently by location, cast availability, and budget
• Source, negotiate, and manage vendor contracts for equipment rental, location permissions, catering, transport, and accommodation for the production unit
• Oversee crew hiring for below-the-line positions including spot boys, drivers, make-up crew, costume assistants, and production assistants
• Manage day-to-day petty cash disbursements, collect receipts from all departments, and submit daily expense reports to the producer
• Co-ordinate location scouting and obtain necessary permissions from local authorities, landowners, and Coimbatore corporation for outdoor shoots
• Monitor actual spending against budgeted figures throughout the production and flag overruns to the producer for corrective action
• Liaise between the production office and all departments to ensure resources, crew, and equipment are available as per the shooting schedule

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• 2 to 6 years of production management experience on Tamil film or OTT content projects with demonstrated budgeting and scheduling skills
• Graduate in Mass Communication, Visual Communication, Film Studies, or any relevant discipline with strong production workflow knowledge
• Proven ability to build and manage production budgets, track actual costs, and maintain fiscal discipline across all departments
• Strong vendor negotiation skills and established relationships with equipment rental companies, location providers, and crew suppliers in Coimbatore
• Excellent organisational and multitasking skills to manage simultaneous logistics across multiple production departments and locations
• Fluency in Tamil and working knowledge of English for communication with vendors, crew, cast, and production office stakeholders
• Familiarity with production scheduling tools and spreadsheet-based budget tracking used in Tamil film production management
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Coimbatore.
