📌 Key Responsibilities

• Design, write, and execute detailed test cases and test plans covering functional, regression, and exploratory testing of product features.
• Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking tools such as JIRA, providing clear reproduction steps and severity classification.
• Perform API testing using Postman or similar tools to validate backend service responses, error codes, and data integrity.
• Conduct cross-browser and cross-device testing to ensure product quality across supported platforms and screen sizes.
• Participate in sprint ceremonies including backlog grooming, sprint planning, and retrospectives as the QA representative.
• Work closely with developers to clarify requirements, reproduce reported bugs, and verify fixes before release sign-off.
• Maintain test documentation including test plans, test matrices, and release notes to support product quality records.

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• B.E. or B.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• Fundamental understanding of software testing lifecycle including test planning, test case design, execution, and defect reporting.
• Hands-on experience with bug tracking tools such as JIRA or Bugzilla and the ability to write clear, reproducible bug reports.
• Familiarity with API testing using Postman including basic request-response validation and environment configuration.
• Exposure to mobile application testing on Android and iOS devices or emulators.
• Understanding of agile software development and the QA engineer's role within sprint-based product teams.
• Attention to detail, structured thinking, and a customer-centric approach to evaluating software product quality.
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Coimbatore.
