📌 Key Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of small and medium enterprise customers and provide comprehensive business banking solutions.
• Source new SME customers through referrals, market visits, and lead programs to grow the business banking book.
• Assess working capital and term loan requirements of SME clients and coordinate with credit teams for proposal structuring.
• Cross-sell cash management, trade finance, and treasury products to existing SME portfolio customers.
• Monitor the health of the lending portfolio, track early warning signals, and coordinate with credit monitoring teams.
• Conduct periodic relationship reviews with business owners to understand evolving financial needs.
• Achieve quarterly targets for new client acquisition, loan disbursement, and fee income generation.

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• Graduate in Commerce or Business or MBA from a recognised institution.
• Two to six years of experience in SME banking, business banking, or commercial lending.
• Strong understanding of working capital products including CC/OD limits, LC, and BG facilities.
• Ability to read and analyse basic financial statements including balance sheets and profit and loss accounts.
• Business development skills and the ability to build relationships with promoters and CFOs of SME businesses.
• Good knowledge of RBI guidelines related to SME lending and priority sector norms.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills in Tamil, English, and the local business community.
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Coimbatore.
