• Conduct algorithmic impact assessments for new AI features before deployment
• Develop and maintain responsible AI policies, guidelines, and internal governance documentation
• Collaborate with ML engineers and product teams to implement bias mitigation strategies in model development
• Monitor deployed AI systems for discriminatory outcomes and unexpected societal impacts
• Engage with legal, compliance, and leadership teams on AI regulation and risk management
• Track emerging AI ethics standards and regulation and translate implications into internal recommendations

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• M.Sc. in Social Sciences, Computer Science, Law, or Statistics with 2 to 6 years of relevant experience
• Understanding of AI fairness concepts including demographic parity, equalised odds, and calibration
• Familiarity with responsible AI frameworks such as NIST AI RMF, EU AI Act principles, or IEEE standards
• Ability to conduct structured risk assessments and document findings in policy and governance formats
• Strong written communication for policy documentation, audit reports, and executive presentations
• Collaborative mindset to work across technical and non-technical functions
• Interest in the intersection of technology, society, ethics, and law
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Coimbatore.
