📌 Key Responsibilities
- Conduct pre-insurance risk surveys for industrial, commercial, and institutional property insurance proposals
- Assess fire hazard grade, occupancy class, construction type, and protection systems at survey locations
- Identify significant risk hazards and recommend risk improvement measures to reduce fire and explosion risk
- Prepare detailed risk survey reports with photographs, sketch plans, and hazard rating
- Coordinate post-inspection follow-up with policyholders on risk improvement compliance
- Support underwriters with technical inputs for risk acceptance and rating decisions
- Conduct renewal surveys for existing large fire and engineering accounts
🎓 Qualifications and Requirements
- B.E. in Mechanical, Civil, Fire Safety, or Chemical Engineering from a recognized institution
- 2 - 6 Years of industrial risk survey or loss prevention experience
- Good knowledge of fire protection systems, hazard classification, and industrial processes
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, plant layouts, and electrical schematics
- Strong report writing skills for technical risk survey documentation
- Willingness to travel to industrial estates, factories, and construction sites across Coimbatore and Tamil Nadu
- NEBOSH or fire safety certification preferred
- Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Coimbatore.
