📌 Key Responsibilities

• Clean and service assigned guest rooms daily according to hotel housekeeping standards and checklists.
• Change bed linens, replenish towels, and restock bathroom and guest amenities to required par levels.
• Operate housekeeping trolleys and carry adequate supplies for allocated room sections each shift.
• Report maintenance defects such as plumbing faults, broken fixtures, or electrical issues to the supervisor immediately.
• Handle guest requests for extra pillows, blankets, or amenities promptly and with a courteous attitude.
• Maintain cleanliness in corridors, linen rooms, and service areas assigned to the housekeeping floor section.
• Follow lost-and-found procedures by logging, tagging, and handing over any guest articles found in rooms.

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• Minimum 10th standard pass; 12th pass preferred by most Coimbatore private hotels.
• Certificate or short-term training in housekeeping from a hotel management institute is advantageous.
• Prior experience in hotel housekeeping, serviced apartments, or facility management is preferred.
• Basic understanding of hotel room status codes (vacant, occupied, check-out, do-not-disturb).
• Ability to handle housekeeping chemicals safely following MSDS and hotel safety protocols.
• Good physical stamina to complete room cleaning duties during full 8-hour shifts.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts including early morning, evening, and weekend shifts.
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Coimbatore.
