📌 Key Responsibilities

• Plan optimal delivery routes for daily fleet operations using GPS and route planning tools to minimise distance, time, and fuel cost
• Cluster delivery points geographically and allocate the most suitable vehicle type and driver for each route
• Calculate transit times and estimated arrival windows for each delivery point and communicate to clients
• Prepare daily route sheets and dispatch instructions for drivers and fleet supervisors
• Monitor actual routes versus planned routes using GPS and identify deviations or inefficiencies
• Analyse fuel consumption, toll cost, and vehicle utilisation per route and report findings to operations manager
• Support new client onboarding with route feasibility assessment and SLA transit time commitments
• Update and maintain route master data in the transport management system

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• Have you used GPS mapping or route planning tools for logistics delivery route optimisation?
• Can you cluster delivery points geographically and plan routes to minimise distance and fuel cost?
• Are you familiar with calculating transit times and vehicle utilisation for daily fleet deployment?
• Do you have experience preparing route sheets and dispatch instructions for drivers?
• Can you analyse GPS data to compare planned versus actual routes and identify inefficiencies?
• Are you proficient in MS Excel or transport management software for route MIS reporting?
• Have you supported new client SLA commitments with route feasibility and transit time analysis?
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Coimbatore.
