📌 Key Responsibilities

• Design multi-task firmware architectures using FreeRTOS or Zephyr RTOS
• Configure task priorities, stack sizes, and scheduling policies for real-time requirements
• Implement synchronisation primitives - mutexes, semaphores, event groups, and queues
• Diagnose and resolve task starvation, priority inversion, and deadlock issues
• Implement low-power tickless idle modes for battery-powered IoT devices
• Write and validate Zephyr device tree overlays for custom hardware configurations
• Profile CPU utilisation and stack usage with trace tools such as Tracealyzer or Segger SystemView

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• How do you detect and prevent priority inversion in FreeRTOS?
• What is the difference between a binary semaphore and a mutex in FreeRTOS?
• How do you configure a Zephyr device tree overlay for a custom I2C sensor?
• Describe your strategy for sizing task stacks to avoid overflow without over-allocating.
• How does tickless idle mode work in FreeRTOS and when would you use it?
• Have you used Segger SystemView or Tracealyzer for RTOS task profiling?
• How do you share data safely between an ISR and a FreeRTOS task?
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Coimbatore.
