📋 Job Description

📌 Key Responsibilities

• Identify and develop corporate accounts, travel agents, and event agencies for room and banquet revenue.
• Conduct sales calls, client entertainment, and hotel site inspections for prospective corporate clients.
• Negotiate room rates, corporate contracts, and banquet packages in line with the hotel's revenue strategy.
• Manage accounts on OTA platforms (MakeMyTrip, Booking.com, Expedia) and B2B travel agent portals.
• Track and manage a sales pipeline using the hotel's CRM or sales management system.
• Attend trade fairs, networking events, and industry associations to represent the hotel and generate new leads.
• Prepare weekly and monthly sales activity reports and revenue forecasts for the Sales Manager.

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or Hotel Management degree from a recognised university; MBA in Marketing is an advantage.
• 1 to 5 years of hotel sales experience with a track record in corporate account development or MICE sales.
• Good understanding of hotel room revenue metrics including occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, and market segmentation.
• Proficiency in OTA platforms, GDS (Global Distribution System) basics, and hotel sales CRM tools.
• Excellent English communication and presentation skills for corporate sales interactions and client negotiations.
• Possession of a two-wheeler or car licence for client visits across Coimbatore's corporate zones.
• Familiarity with Coimbatore's corporate geography including Guindy, OMR, Ambattur, Anna Salai, and Perungudi zones.
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Coimbatore.
