📌 Key Responsibilities

• Write complete Tamil film or OTT web series screenplays including scene headings, action lines, and character dialogue in proper screenplay format
• Develop and write Tamil dialogue that is authentic to each character's voice, socio-economic background, and regional speech patterns
• Work collaboratively with the director or story team to develop scene-level story beats, plot structure, and act-wise screenplay architecture
• Revise and polish screenplay drafts based on director, producer, and creative team feedback through multiple development rounds
• Write scene-wise story treatments, episode outlines, and series bibles for OTT Tamil web series development submissions
• Research Tamil cultural contexts, regional references, and authentic dialogue idioms to ensure credibility in scripts set in specific Tamil Nadu environments
• Use screenplay formatting software such as Final Draft or Fade In to produce industry-standard script documents for production use

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• 0 to 4 years of experience writing Tamil film or OTT screenplays, short films, or theatre scripts with samples demonstrating narrative ability
• Graduate in Tamil Literature, Mass Communication, Visual Communication, or any discipline with a strong writing portfolio in Tamil
• Deep understanding of Tamil film narrative conventions, genre expectations, and audience sensibilities across commercial and content-driven formats
• Strong Tamil language writing ability including mastery of authentic regional dialogue, colloquialisms, and character voice differentiation
• Knowledge of three-act screenplay structure, scene construction, and character arc development applicable to Tamil cinema storytelling
• Familiarity with screenplay formatting standards and software such as Final Draft, Fade In, or Celtx
• Willingness to collaborate with directors and co-writers in a development room environment and accept creative feedback constructively
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Coimbatore.
