📌 Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and architecture of scalable ML systems supporting millions of daily predictions
• Define ML platform standards, model evaluation frameworks, and deployment best practices
• Mentor junior and mid-level ML engineers through code reviews, design sessions, and knowledge sharing
• Drive model optimisation for latency, throughput, and memory usage in production environments
• Collaborate with ML research teams to translate research prototypes into reliable production systems
• Own reliability and performance SLAs for mission-critical ML model endpoints
• Evaluate new frameworks, tools, and techniques and recommend adoption where beneficial

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• B.E. or M.Sc. in Computer Science with 4 to 9 years of progressive ML engineering experience
• Expert-level proficiency in Python, PyTorch or TensorFlow, and ML system architecture
• Proven track record of deploying and maintaining ML systems in large-scale production environments
• Experience with distributed training, model parallelism, and inference optimisation techniques
• Ability to mentor engineers and lead technical projects end to end
• Strong understanding of software engineering principles including testing, CI/CD, and code maintainability
• Excellent communication skills for technical leadership and stakeholder engagement
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Coimbatore.
