📌 Key Responsibilities

• Supervise the jewellery showroom floor team during assigned shifts and ensure service standards are maintained
• Brief the sales team on daily targets, new collections, ongoing schemes, and customer handling priorities
• Monitor individual sales staff performance and provide real-time coaching and support
• Handle customer escalations beyond the sales executive's authority and resolve complaints promptly
• Ensure showcase displays and floor arrangements are maintained to brand standards throughout the shift
• Oversee shift opening and closing procedures including security handover and stock verification
• Prepare daily shift performance reports covering sales, footfall, conversion, and team attendance

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• Graduate in any discipline from a recognised university
• Two to six years of jewellery showroom experience with at least one year in a supervisory or senior sales role
• Demonstrated ability to manage and motivate a floor sales team in a jewellery retail environment
• Strong knowledge of gold, diamond, and silver jewellery products and pricing structures
• Ability to handle customer escalations confidently and resolve complaints within showroom policy
• Good understanding of jewellery showcase display standards and security compliance requirements
• Proficiency in daily sales reporting and performance tracking for floor teams
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Coimbatore.

Graduate or 12th pass for retail sales and customer service roles; BHM or Diploma in Retail Management for showroom operations; GIA Graduate Gemologist or GIA Diamonds certificate for diamond grading roles; Hallmarking awareness and BIS guidelines for quality and assurance roles; Tally for accounts roles in jewellery business; ITI Goldsmithing trade certificate for karigar/goldsmith roles; knowledge of 22-karat, 18-karat, and 916 hallmark standards for all floor staff; familiarity with TN VAT, GST on gold, and making charges for billing roles
