📋 Job Description

📌 Key Responsibilities

• Hold full P&L accountability for the store including sales, cost, margin, and shrinkage targets
• Lead and develop the store team across all departments to deliver consistent sales and service
• Drive store-level sales strategy through promotional planning and category performance management
• Manage all store compliance including food safety, fire safety, and labour law requirements
• Coordinate with area and regional management on store performance, capex, and expansion plans
• Resolve senior customer escalations and represent the store in community and local business interactions
• Conduct weekly management reviews with department heads and submit performance reports to the area manager

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• Graduate in any discipline from a recognised university; MBA strongly preferred
• Five to twelve years of retail experience with at least three years managing a full store or large department
• Demonstrated track record of achieving store P&L targets in an organised retail environment
• Strong leadership skills for managing teams of thirty or more staff across multiple departments
• In-depth knowledge of retail operations including inventory, shrinkage, and customer experience management
• Proficiency in retail ERP for store P&L reporting and inventory management
• Excellent communication skills in Tamil and English for team, vendor, and corporate stakeholder management
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Coimbatore.
