📌 Key Responsibilities

• Process import and export Letters of Credit including LC issuance, amendment, negotiation, and payment.
• Handle Bank Guarantee issuance and invocation requests for customers engaged in construction, infrastructure, and trade activities.
• Process bills under LC and documentary collections for importer and exporter customers.
• Verify trade documents for compliance with LC terms and UCP 600 or ISBP guidelines.
• Send and receive SWIFT messages for trade finance transactions and maintain accurate records.
• Coordinate with RBI authorised dealer norms and ensure all trade finance transactions comply with FEMA guidelines.
• Liaise with correspondent banks, customer trade teams, and regulatory authorities for trade finance processing.

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• Graduate in Commerce or Business from a recognised university.
• One to five years of experience in trade finance operations at a bank or financial institution.
• In-depth knowledge of Letters of Credit including sight LC, usance LC, standby LC, and back-to-back LC.
• Familiarity with UCP 600, ISBP, and URR 725 governing documentary credits and reimbursements.
• Proficiency in SWIFT messaging standards for MT700 series and MT400 series trade transactions.
• Knowledge of FEMA regulations relating to import payments and export realisation norms.
• CDCS (Certified Documentary Credit Specialist) certification is an advantage.
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Coimbatore.
