📌 Key Responsibilities

• Raise freight invoices for clients based on lorry receipts, trip sheets, and agreed rate cards
• Enter all freight billing transactions in Tally and reconcile client ledgers monthly
• Manage driver advance payments, trip expense settlements, and driver salary disbursement records
• Maintain fuel account including fuel card transactions, fuel consumption records, and mileage reconciliation
• Process vendor and workshop payments for vehicle repairs and maintenance services
• Prepare monthly transport accounts MIS including revenue, trip cost, and fuel expense summary
• Ensure GST compliance for transport services including e-way bill cross-check and TDS on freight
• Assist in monthly closing and preparation of trial balance for transport accounts

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• Do you have hands-on experience using Tally ERP for accounting in a transport or logistics company?
• Can you raise freight invoices and reconcile client ledgers for road transport billing?
• Are you familiar with driver advance management and trip expense settlement procedures?
• Do you have experience managing a fuel account including fuel card transactions and mileage reconciliation?
• Are you aware of GST applicability on transport services including RCM on freight?
• Can you prepare monthly accounts MIS reports covering revenue, cost, and fuel expense?
• Do you have experience processing vendor payments and supporting monthly accounts closing?
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Coimbatore.

Heavy Vehicle Driving Licence (HMV) for truck and bus driver roles; Light Vehicle Driving Licence (LMV) for car and van driver roles; badge (permit card) from RTO for commercial vehicle drivers; knowledge of Tamil Nadu Motor Vehicles Act and CMVR for transport coordinator roles; Diploma or Graduate for operations and coordinator roles; GPS fleet tracking software familiarity for fleet supervisor roles; knowledge of e-way bill and lorry receipt documentation for dispatch roles; Graduate or MBA for transport manager and operations head roles
