📌 Key Responsibilities

• Receive vehicle booking requests from clients or internal teams and allocate suitable vehicles and drivers
• Schedule daily trip assignments and brief drivers on route, load, and timing requirements
• Monitor vehicle movement through GPS fleet tracking system and update delivery status
• Prepare and verify lorry receipts, trip sheets, and e-way bills for all outbound consignments
• Communicate with drivers in transit for real-time status updates and exception handling
• Coordinate with loading and unloading teams for on-time cargo handover
• Escalate delays, breakdowns, or route issues to operations supervisor immediately
• Maintain daily trip log, driver attendance, and vehicle utilisation records

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• Have you worked as a transport coordinator or dispatch executive in a transport or logistics company?
• Are you familiar with GPS fleet tracking systems for monitoring vehicle movement?
• Can you prepare lorry receipts, trip sheets, and e-way bills for outbound consignments?
• Do you have experience scheduling drivers and allocating vehicles for daily trip assignments?
• Are you comfortable communicating with drivers and clients for trip status updates?
• Can you maintain daily vehicle utilisation and trip log records accurately?
• Are you proficient in basic computer tools such as MS Excel or transport management software?
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Coimbatore.

Heavy Vehicle Driving Licence (HMV) for truck and bus driver roles; Light Vehicle Driving Licence (LMV) for car and van driver roles; badge (permit card) from RTO for commercial vehicle drivers; knowledge of Tamil Nadu Motor Vehicles Act and CMVR for transport coordinator roles; Diploma or Graduate for operations and coordinator roles; GPS fleet tracking software familiarity for fleet supervisor roles; knowledge of e-way bill and lorry receipt documentation for dispatch roles; Graduate or MBA for transport manager and operations head roles
