📌 Key Responsibilities

• Plan and execute preventive maintenance schedules for HMV and LMV commercial vehicles in the fleet
• Diagnose engine, brake, suspension, and electrical faults on trucks, buses, and vans
• Supervise in-house mechanics and coordinate with authorised service centres for major repairs
• Manage workshop spare parts inventory and raise purchase requisitions for critical spares
• Coordinate breakdown response and arrange roadside assistance or tow-in for stranded vehicles
• Ensure all vehicles comply with fitness certificate, PUC, and insurance renewal timelines
• Maintain vehicle maintenance history cards and repair logs for each fleet vehicle
• Prepare monthly maintenance cost reports and highlight recurring defect trends to fleet management

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• Do you have experience planning preventive maintenance schedules for commercial vehicles such as trucks and buses?
• Can you diagnose engine, brake, suspension, and electrical faults on HMV or LMV vehicles?
• Have you supervised mechanics in a commercial vehicle workshop?
• Do you manage spare parts inventory and raise purchase requisitions for a vehicle fleet?
• Are you familiar with fitness certificate and PUC renewal requirements for commercial vehicles?
• Have you coordinated breakdown response and managed tow-in or roadside assistance for fleet vehicles?
• Can you prepare maintenance cost reports and present them to fleet management?
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Coimbatore.
