📌 Key Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise-wide retail operations strategy covering all stores and regions across the organisation
• Manage the national or multi-city retail P&L and present performance to the board and investors
• Define and implement retail format strategy including store size, layout, and category mix decisions
• Drive national vendor and category partnerships to deliver competitive pricing and product differentiation
• Build and develop the regional and area management leadership pipeline across the organisation
• Oversee new city and new format expansion planning in alignment with the board's growth strategy
• Represent the retail operations function in board meetings, investor communications, and industry forums

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• MBA from a premier institution; additional qualifications in strategy or general management are advantageous
• Fifteen to twenty-five years of progressive retail experience with at least eight years in senior regional or national leadership
• Demonstrated track record of leading large-scale multi-city retail P&L with hundreds of stores
• Extensive experience in retail format development, new market expansion, and large-scale workforce management
• Board-level communication skills and experience managing investor and external stakeholder relationships
• Deep functional knowledge spanning operations, supply chain, HR, finance, and technology in a retail context
• Prior experience as a Regional Director, COO, or equivalent in a large organised retail chain is preferred
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Coimbatore.
