📌 Key Responsibilities

• Create and revise 3D solid models of aerospace structural parts and assemblies using CATIA V5 Part Design and Assembly Design workbenches
• Generate fully dimensioned and toleranced 2D engineering drawings with GD and T callouts per ASME Y14.5
• Perform digital mock-up and interface definition checks to ensure clearance and fit of adjacent structure
• Support DFM reviews with manufacturing engineering to improve part producibility and reduce tooling complexity
• Manage engineering change notices and update models, drawings, and associated documents in PDM system
• Conduct mass property analysis, material selection studies, and packaging studies for structural components
• Collaborate with stress engineers to ensure structural design changes are consistent with analysis outputs

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• Do you have a B.E. in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering with at least one year of CATIA V5 structural design experience?
• Are you proficient in CATIA V5 Part Design, Assembly Design, and Drafting workbenches for aerostructure applications?
• Can you create fully toleranced engineering drawings applying GD and T per ASME Y14.5 standard?
• Do you have experience working with a PDM system such as ENOVIA or SmarTeam for model and document release?
• Have you performed digital mock-up clearance checks and interface definition reviews on aerostructure assemblies?
• Are you familiar with aerospace sheet metal design rules, bend allowances, and composite ply drop-off guidelines?
• Do you have experience managing engineering change notices and updating design documentation in a controlled release environment?
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Chennai.
