📌 Key Responsibilities

• Develop manufacturing process plans, routings, and work instructions for aerostructure machined parts and assemblies
• Support CNC machining, sheet metal forming, and assembly operations with process engineering guidance
• Design and specify jigs, fixtures, and special tooling required for aerostructure component manufacturing
• Perform DFM and DFA analysis on new parts and recommend design changes to improve manufacturability
• Drive lean manufacturing and six sigma improvement projects to reduce cycle time and scrap rates
• Manage APQP activities and coordinate production part approval process submissions for new part introduction
• Support non-conformance resolution by identifying root cause and implementing corrective actions for manufacturing defects

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• Do you have a B.E. in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering with at least one year of aerostructure manufacturing experience?
• Are you experienced in developing manufacturing process plans, routings, and work instructions for machined or composite parts?
• Do you have knowledge of CNC machining, sheet metal forming, or aerospace assembly processes used in aerostructure manufacturing?
• Can you perform DFM analysis and work with design teams to resolve manufacturability issues on new aerospace components?
• Are you familiar with APQP methodology and PPAP submission requirements for aerospace OEM or tier-1 customers?
• Have you led or participated in lean manufacturing or six sigma improvement projects in an aerospace production environment?
• Do you understand AS9100 requirements for manufacturing process control, traceability, and non-conformance management?
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Chennai.
