📌 Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and assemble inflight meal trays for domestic and international airline catering orders according to the airline's meal specification, tray layout plan, and portion standards
• Load galley trolleys with the correct meal count, meal category, and special meal types (VGML, HNML, DBML, KSML, etc.) as per the airline's uplift order for each assigned flight
• Maintain food hygiene and safety standards in the catering production and assembly areas in compliance with HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) procedures
• Conduct meal count verification checks before loading galley trolleys onto the airline catering vehicle for airport delivery to ensure zero shortfall or overload against the uplift order
• Label all meal containers and trolleys with the correct flight number, date, meal type, and allergen information as required by the airline's inflight catering specification
• Monitor and maintain cold chain temperatures for chilled and frozen meal items from production through chilled storage, trolley loading, and aircraft galley delivery
• Operate the catering vehicle or catering hi-loader at the aircraft to deliver and retrieve galley trolleys during aircraft turn-around at Chennai airport
• Report food quality concerns, cold chain temperature deviations, or meal specification discrepancies to the catering supervisor immediately for corrective action

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• 12th pass or Graduate from a recognized institution; Hotel Management or Food Production qualification is an advantage
• 0 - 3 Years of experience in airline catering, hotel kitchen, institutional catering, or food production; freshers are considered
• Valid AVSEC certification and eligibility to obtain a valid APOC airport entry pass for aircraft galley delivery operations at Chennai airport
• Awareness of food hygiene and safety principles including HACCP, cold chain maintenance, and personal hygiene standards in a food production environment
• Physical fitness for standing kitchen duties, trolley loading operations, and catering vehicle work during all shift hours
• Ability to follow detailed meal assembly specifications, portion standards, and tray layout plans accurately and at speed during peak production hours
• Willingness to work rotating shifts including early morning, late night, and weekend shifts aligned with airline catering uplift requirements at Chennai airport
