📌 Key Responsibilities

• Welcome arriving lounge guests, verify lounge access eligibility using airline membership card, credit card priority pass, or airline ticket class, and register guest details in the lounge management system
• Provide premium hospitality services to lounge guests including food and beverage service at the self-service buffet, beverage requests, and assistance with individual guest needs
• Monitor and manage lounge capacity during peak flight departure periods to ensure a comfortable and exclusive guest experience within the lounge seating and dining areas
• Maintain and replenish the buffet food stations, beverage counters, and refreshment areas to ensure availability of all menu items throughout the lounge operating hours
• Provide accurate flight information and departure gate updates to lounge guests and alert guests approaching their departure time to ensure timely boarding
• Handle guest complaints and special requests with a calm and professional approach and escalate unresolved issues to the lounge manager for immediate resolution
• Coordinate with housekeeping, catering, and security teams to maintain the lounge's cleanliness, ambiance, safety, and operational standards at all times
• Prepare daily lounge occupancy reports covering guest count by access type, peak hour capacity, menu consumption, and guest feedback summary for the lounge manager

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• Graduate degree from a recognized institution; Diploma or Degree in Hotel Management or Hospitality is an advantage
• 0 - 2 Years of experience in premium hospitality, hotel front office, airline lounge, or customer service roles; freshers with a hospitality background are considered
• Valid AVSEC certification and eligibility to obtain a valid APOC airport pass for lounge access in the pre-security or post-security terminal zones
• Presentable appearance and professional demeanour suitable for a premium passenger lounge environment at Chennai airport
• Good communication skills in English and Tamil with the ability to interact confidently with premium airline passengers and corporate travellers
• Hospitality knowledge for food and beverage service, buffet management, and maintaining the ambiance standards expected in a premium airport lounge environment
• Willingness to work rotating shifts covering the full lounge operating hours aligned with the domestic and international departure schedule at Chennai airport
