📌 Key Responsibilities
- Administer general, spinal, epidural, and regional anesthesia for elective and emergency surgical procedures
- Conduct pre-anesthetic assessment, optimize patient medical conditions, and obtain informed anesthesia consent
- Manage intraoperative hemodynamics, airway, fluid balance, and temperature for surgical patients
- Provide post-anesthetic recovery monitoring in PACU and manage emergence complications
- Manage ICU patients requiring mechanical ventilation, sedation, and invasive monitoring
- Provide acute and chronic pain management including epidural analgesia and nerve blocks
- Participate in OT scheduling, anesthetic equipment checks, and anesthetic drug supply management
🎓 Qualifications and Requirements
- MBBS + MD Anesthesia, DA (Diploma in Anesthesia), or DNB Anesthesia from a recognized medical college
- 3 - 12 Years of clinical anesthesia experience
- TNMC registration mandatory
- Competency in general, spinal, epidural, and ultrasound-guided regional anesthesia techniques
- Cardiac anesthesia experience preferred for hospitals with active cardiac surgery programme
- Pediatric anesthesia experience preferred for hospitals with paediatric surgical services
- Willingness to participate in 24/7 emergency OT and obstetric anesthesia call roster
