📋 Job Description

Jobzi is sourcing qualified candidates for CT Scan Technician positions in Chennai private hospitals. This role is with a leading multi-speciality or super-speciality hospital in Chennai. 📌 Key Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic CT examinations including plain, contrast-enhanced, and CT angiography studies of head, chest, abdomen, and extremities
• Select and optimize CT scan protocols for clinical indication to balance image quality and radiation dose
• Administer IV contrast agents, monitor for contrast reactions, and manage minor contrast reactions per protocol
• Perform post-processing of CT images including MPR, MIP, 3D volume rendering, and virtual endoscopy
• Manage emergency CT requests for trauma, stroke, and PE with priority scanning and rapid reporting workflow
• Archive images to PACS, ensure proper patient identifiers, and prepare CD copies for patients
• Maintain CT scanner performance, quality assurance records, and report technical malfunctions

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• B.Sc. CT/MRI Technology, B.Sc. Radiology with specialized CT training, or PG Diploma in CT scanning
• 2 - 6 Years of dedicated CT scan technologist experience
• Proficiency in operating GE Revolution, Siemens SOMATOM, or Philips CT scanners
• Skills in CT angiography, cardiac CT, and CT-guided procedures
• Knowledge of IV contrast protocols, Omnipaque/Ultravist dosing, and contrast reaction management
• Familiarity with PACS/RIS systems for image archiving and report workflow
• AERB radiation safety certificate
