  • Evaluate and manage patients with acute coronary syndromes, heart failure, arrhythmias, and valvular heart disease
  • Perform diagnostic coronary angiography and therapeutic percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI, stenting)
  • Conduct trans-thoracic and trans-oesophageal echocardiography for cardiac function and structural assessment
  • Manage cardiac device implantation including pacemakers, ICDs, and CRT devices
  • Conduct electrophysiology studies and catheter ablation for arrhythmias including AF, SVT, and VT
  • Manage acute MI patients through STEMI protocol with primary PCI within door-to-balloon targets
  • Participate in Heart Team discussions for complex revascularization and structural heart interventions

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

  • MBBS + MD Internal Medicine + DM Cardiology or DNB Cardiology from a recognized institution
  • 4 - 15 Years of post-DM clinical cardiology experience
  • TNMC registration mandatory
  • Interventional cardiology skills (coronary angiography, PCI) are strongly preferred for hospital consultant roles
  • Echocardiography competency mandatory; advanced echo (3D echo, stress echo, TOE) preferred
  • Device implantation (pacemaker, ICD) experience preferred
  • Fellowship from a recognized cardiac centre in India or abroad is highly valued
