📌 Key Responsibilities
- Triage and prioritize patients presenting to the Emergency Department based on acuity and clinical instability
- Manage acute life-threatening emergencies including cardiac arrest, respiratory failure, major trauma, and stroke
- Perform emergency airway management including RSI intubation, needle thoracostomy, and surgical airway
- Lead ACLS and ATLS resuscitation of cardiac arrest, polytrauma, and hemodynamically unstable patients
- Interpret point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS) for pneumothorax, cardiac tamponade, and free fluid assessment
- Manage medical emergencies including poisoning, severe sepsis, DKA, eclampsia, and acute stroke
- Coordinate patient disposition to ICU, OT, cath lab, or wards with relevant specialists
🎓 Qualifications and Requirements
- MBBS + MD Emergency Medicine, DNB Emergency Medicine, MRCEM (UK), or FACEM (Aus) qualification
- 2 - 8 Years of dedicated Emergency Department experience
- ACLS and ATLS certification mandatory
- Proficiency in RSI intubation, central line insertion, chest tube, and POCUS
- Ability to work efficiently under high-pressure conditions with multiple critical patients simultaneously
- TNMC registration and willingness for shift-based 24/7 ED roster
