📌 Key Responsibilities
- Manage antenatal, intranatal, and postnatal care for normal and high-risk pregnancies
- Perform lower segment caesarean section (LSCS), instrumental deliveries, and normal vaginal deliveries
- Conduct diagnostic and operative laparoscopy for endometriosis, ovarian cysts, ectopic pregnancy, and fibroids
- Manage gynaecological emergencies including PPH, ectopic rupture, and hypertensive emergencies in pregnancy
- Perform hysteroscopy for intrauterine pathology assessment and treatment
- Evaluate and manage infertility including ovulation induction, IUI coordination, and IVF patient preparation
- Manage menstrual disorders, PCOS, pelvic pain, and menopausal symptoms in OPD practice
🎓 Qualifications and Requirements
- MBBS + MS OBG, MD OBG, or DNB OBG from a recognized institution
- 3 - 14 Years of post-MS OBG clinical experience
- TNMC registration mandatory
- Competency in normal deliveries, LSCS, and operative obstetrics
- Laparoscopic and hysteroscopic surgery skills preferred for hospital consultant roles
- High-risk obstetrics experience (preterm labour, gestational diabetes, pre-eclampsia) preferred
- Infertility and ART experience preferred for hospitals with IVF programmes
