📌 Key Responsibilities

• Register new and returning patients at OPD counter and create patient IDs in the Hospital Management System (HMS)
• Schedule doctor appointments and manage OPD queue efficiently to reduce patient wait time
• Direct patients to correct departments, wards, or diagnostic areas within the hospital
• Handle patient and visitor queries regarding doctor availability, consultation charges, and services
• Collect OPD consultation fees, issue receipts, and maintain daily cash collection records
• Coordinate with nursing station for inpatient admission formalities and bed allocation
• Provide empathetic customer service to patients and family members, including anxious or distressed visitors

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• Any graduate degree from a recognized university
• 0 - 3 Years of hospital reception or front desk experience; freshers with good communication welcome
• Proficiency in Hospital Management System (HMS) or willingness to learn
• Good communication skills in Tamil and English for diverse patient interaction
• Calm, empathetic, and professional demeanour under high patient volume
• Basic computer skills including MS Office and appointment scheduling software
• Neat appearance and courteous attitude befitting a hospital environment
