📌 Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine and emergency clinical laboratory tests in hematology, biochemistry, microbiology, and urinalysis departments
- Operate automated analyzers (Beckman Coulter, Sysmex, Roche Cobas) for CBC, LFT, RFT, and electrolyte testing
- Process blood cultures, urine cultures, and sensitivity testing per CLSI microbiological guidelines
- Prepare blood components and maintain blood bank records per NBTC blood bank guidelines
- Perform quality control procedures including IQC and EQA to ensure test accuracy and precision
- Calibrate and maintain laboratory instruments and report equipment malfunctions
- Report critical values immediately to the treating doctor as per lab critical value policy
🎓 Qualifications and Requirements
- B.Sc. Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT) or DMLT from an NABL-recognized institution
- 1 - 4 Years of clinical laboratory experience in a hospital or diagnostic centre
- Proficiency in operating hematology, biochemistry, and urinalysis analyzers
- Knowledge of NABL quality standards, IQC, EQA, and pre-analytical error prevention
- Experience with blood bank procedures preferred for hospital lab roles
- Good technical documentation and result reporting skills
- BLS certification preferred
