📌 Key Responsibilities
- Manage acute kidney injury (AKI) and chronic kidney disease (CKD) across inpatient and OPD settings
- Prescribe and supervise hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis programmes for ESKD patients
- Perform kidney biopsies for glomerular disease diagnosis and guide immunosuppressive therapy
- Manage renal transplant recipients including immunosuppression, rejection surveillance, and infection monitoring
- Provide CRRT (Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy) management for critically ill AKI patients in ICU
- Diagnose and treat complex renal conditions including vasculitis, nephrotic syndrome, and inherited nephropathies
- Conduct living donor evaluation and coordinate deceased donor kidney allocation
🎓 Qualifications and Requirements
- MBBS + MD Internal Medicine + DM Nephrology or DNB Nephrology from a recognized institution
- 4 - 14 Years of post-DM nephrology clinical experience
- TNMC registration mandatory
- Hemodialysis, PD, and CRRT competency
- Renal transplant experience (donor evaluation, post-transplant management) preferred
- Kidney biopsy and glomerular disease management expertise
- Interventional nephrology skills (AV fistula assessment, dialysis catheter insertion) preferred
