📋 Job Description

Jobzi is sourcing qualified candidates for Nephrologist positions in Chennai private hospitals. This role is with a leading multi-speciality or super-speciality hospital in Chennai. 📌 Key Responsibilities

• Manage acute kidney injury (AKI) and chronic kidney disease (CKD) across inpatient and OPD settings
• Prescribe and supervise hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis programmes for ESKD patients
• Perform kidney biopsies for glomerular disease diagnosis and guide immunosuppressive therapy
• Manage renal transplant recipients including immunosuppression, rejection surveillance, and infection monitoring
• Provide CRRT (Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy) management for critically ill AKI patients in ICU
• Diagnose and treat complex renal conditions including vasculitis, nephrotic syndrome, and inherited nephropathies
• Conduct living donor evaluation and coordinate deceased donor kidney allocation

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• MBBS + MD Internal Medicine + DM Nephrology or DNB Nephrology from a recognized institution
• 4 - 14 Years of post-DM nephrology clinical experience
• TNMC registration mandatory
• Hemodialysis, PD, and CRRT competency
• Renal transplant experience (donor evaluation, post-transplant management) preferred
• Kidney biopsy and glomerular disease management expertise
• Interventional nephrology skills (AV fistula assessment, dialysis catheter insertion) preferred
