📌 Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and manage acute stroke using thrombolysis and coordinate with neurointerventional team for thrombectomy
- Evaluate and treat epilepsy, status epilepticus, and drug-resistant seizure disorders with EEG guidance
- Manage degenerative neurological disorders including Parkinson's disease, MND, and multiple sclerosis
- Perform and interpret EEG, EMG/NCS, and evoked potential studies for neurological diagnosis
- Manage neurointensive care patients including cerebral oedema, GBS, and post-neurosurgical cases
- Conduct lumbar puncture, botulinum toxin injections, and nerve conduction studies
- Participate in multi-disciplinary stroke team, epilepsy surgery team, and neuroscience board meetings
🎓 Qualifications and Requirements
- MBBS + MD Internal Medicine + DM Neurology or DNB Neurology from a recognized institution
- 4 - 15 Years of post-DM clinical neurology experience
- TNMC registration mandatory
- Stroke thrombolysis and stroke unit management experience
- EEG interpretation and EMG/NCS competency mandatory
- Interventional neurology (thrombectomy) skills preferred for comprehensive stroke centre roles
