📌 Key Responsibilities
- Perform primary and revision total knee and hip replacement surgeries using conventional and computer-navigated techniques
- Conduct arthroscopic procedures for knee (ACL reconstruction, meniscectomy), shoulder, and ankle conditions
- Manage traumatic fractures, dislocations, and polytrauma cases with internal fixation (nailing, plating, screws)
- Evaluate and treat spinal conditions including disc herniation, spinal stenosis, and deformities (scoliosis)
- Manage paediatric orthopaedic conditions including DDH, CTEV, and skeletal dysplasias
- Conduct OPD clinics for musculoskeletal conditions, sports injuries, and post-operative follow-up
- Participate in orthopaedic oncology MDT for bone tumour management in collaboration with oncology team
🎓 Qualifications and Requirements
- MBBS + MS Orthopedics, DNB Orthopedics, or MCh Orthopedics from a recognized institution
- 4 - 14 Years of post-MS orthopaedic surgical experience
- TNMC registration mandatory
- Proficiency in joint replacement surgery (TKR, THR) and arthroscopic procedures
- Fellowship in arthroplasty, arthroscopy/sports medicine, or spine surgery from a recognized centre preferred
- Experience with computer-navigated joint replacement preferred for hospitals with navigation systems
- Willingness to participate in emergency on-call for trauma and fracture management
