📌 Key Responsibilities
- Integrate payment gateway APIs including UPI, cards, net banking, BNPL, and wallet modes for merchant clients
- Design and implement webhook receivers and callback handlers for payment status notifications
- Troubleshoot failed payment flows, callback delays, and settlement discrepancies for enterprise merchant integrations
- Write integration guides, API documentation, and sample code to accelerate merchant onboarding
- Test payment integrations in sandbox and production environments and validate edge cases for each payment mode
- Coordinate with NPCI, bank partners, and payment network teams to resolve switch-level integration issues
- Provide technical support to merchant engineering teams during and after integration go-live
🎓 Qualifications and Requirements
- B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science, IT, or related field from a recognized institution
- 1 - 5 Years of experience in payment gateway API integration or fintech backend development
- Strong knowledge of REST API design, webhook patterns, and HTTP security for payment integrations
- Hands-on experience with UPI APIs, NPCI technical specifications, or direct bank API integrations
- Proficiency with Postman or equivalent tools for API testing and sandbox verification
- Ability to read and write integration documentation for diverse merchant engineering teams
- Good debugging skills to trace transaction flows across distributed payment processing systems
- Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Chennai.
