📌 Key Responsibilities

• Assemble through-hole and surface mount components on printed circuit boards per assembly drawings
• Perform hand soldering and wave soldering operations as required by the assembly process
• Inspect solder joints and component placement against IPC-A-610 acceptance criteria
• Carry out minor rework and solder touch-up on assemblies identified during inspection
• Document inspection findings on traveller sheets and production records
• Maintain soldering iron tip quality and calibrate tools as per work instructions
• Handle PCB assemblies using ESD-safe trays, mats, and packaging materials
• Coordinate with quality inspector for first-article and final inspection sign-off

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• ITI or Diploma in Electronics and Communication Engineering
• Hands-on experience in through-hole and SMT PCB assembly preferred
• Knowledge of IPC-A-610 soldering and inspection standards is an advantage
• Ability to use hand soldering iron and perform controlled rework operations
• Good eyesight and manual dexterity for handling fine-pitch PCB assemblies
• Familiarity with ESD safe handling and anti-static packaging requirements
• Willingness to work in shifts and meet daily production output targets
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Chennai.
