📌 Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive outpatient and inpatient care for infants, children, and adolescents
- Manage common paediatric conditions including respiratory infections, gastroenteritis, fever, seizures, and malnutrition
- Evaluate and treat developmental disorders, growth faltering, and childhood chronic diseases
- Manage paediatric emergencies including febrile convulsions, severe respiratory distress, and acute dehydration
- Conduct well-child visits, growth monitoring, developmental assessment, and vaccination counselling
- Support NICU team in neonatal care for term and near-term infants with respiratory or feed issues
- Coordinate with paediatric surgery, paediatric cardiology, and developmental paediatrics for complex cases
🎓 Qualifications and Requirements
- MBBS + MD Pediatrics or DNB Pediatrics from a recognized institution
- 3 - 12 Years of post-MD paediatric clinical experience
- TNMC registration mandatory
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification preferred
- NICU experience for hospitals with active neonatal units
- Fellowship in paediatric emergency, paediatric pulmonology, or developmental paediatrics preferred for senior roles
