📌 Key Responsibilities
- Recruit and onboard Point of Sales Persons (POSPs) through partnerships with common service centres, shops, and self-employed individuals
- Train POSPs on approved insurance products, sales process, and IRDAI POSP compliance requirements
- Monitor POSP activity levels, premium generation, and product mix on a weekly basis
- Support POSPs with customer queries, proposal submission, and digital sales tools
- Ensure POSP certificate renewals and compliance with IRDAI POSP regulations
- Achieve monthly POSP-channel premium targets by driving POSP productivity
- Maintain POSP database and submit activity reports to branch management
🎓 Qualifications and Requirements
- Any graduate degree from a recognized university
- 1 - 3 Years of experience in insurance POSP channel or financial product distribution
- Valid IRDAI POSP Certificate or willingness to obtain it during induction
- Basic knowledge of general and health insurance products approved for POSP distribution
- Good communication skills in Tamil for interacting with local POSP partners
- Proficiency in basic MS Office and mobile-based insurance sales apps
- Self-motivated with ability to manage a distributed network of POSPs across Chennai geography
- Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Chennai.
