📌 Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage electronics assembly line output, yield, and cycle time against daily production targets
• Analyse production data to identify bottlenecks, defect hotspots, and yield loss drivers
• Write and update assembly work instructions, process sheets, and traveller documents
• Implement process improvement projects using Kaizen, Poka-Yoke, and lean manufacturing tools
• Conduct process FMEA to identify and mitigate production risks before new product launches
• Coordinate with quality engineers on defect root cause analysis and corrective action closure
• Balance workload across assembly workstations to achieve takt time and throughput targets
• Support NPI engineer during new product introduction by preparing line for first production run

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• B.E. in Electronics and Communication Engineering or Electrical and Electronics Engineering
• Experience in electronics assembly line production engineering or process engineering
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing tools - Kaizen, Poka-Yoke, value stream mapping, and 5S
• Ability to write clear work instructions and process sheets for production operators
• Familiarity with process FMEA methodology and control plan documentation
• Basic data analysis skills to identify yield trends and present improvement proposals
• Good communication skills to coordinate between production, quality, and engineering teams
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Chennai.
