📌 Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and manage chronic respiratory diseases including COPD, asthma, ILD, and pulmonary hypertension
  • Perform flexible bronchoscopy for BAL, endobronchial biopsy, and foreign body removal
  • Conduct EBUS (Endobronchial Ultrasound) for mediastinal lymph node sampling in lung cancer staging
  • Manage mechanical ventilation and NIV (BiPAP, CPAP) in ICU and respiratory step-down units
  • Conduct pulmonary function tests (spirometry, DLCO, 6MWT) and interpret for clinical management
  • Diagnose and manage sleep disordered breathing including OSA with CPAP/BiPAP titration
  • Participate in lung cancer multidisciplinary tumour board and manage lung cancer chemotherapy coordination

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

  • MBBS + MD Pulmonary Medicine, MD Respiratory Medicine, or DNB Pulmonology from a recognized institution
  • 3 - 12 Years of post-MD pulmonology clinical experience
  • TNMC registration mandatory
  • Bronchoscopy and NIV management competency
  • EBUS experience preferred for lung cancer staging roles
