📌 Key Responsibilities
- Design and prescribe radiation treatment plans for head and neck, breast, lung, prostate, and CNS cancers
- Conduct simulation CT and clinical target volume (CTV) delineation for 3D conformal, IMRT, and VMAT planning
- Manage patients receiving stereotactic body radiotherapy (SBRT) and stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS) for lung and brain tumours
- Perform intracavitary and interstitial brachytherapy for gynaecological, prostate, and head-neck cancers
- Supervise radiation therapy technologists for treatment delivery and manage treatment-related toxicities
- Participate in tumor board discussions and present radiation oncology perspectives on complex cases
- Monitor treatment response and conduct post-treatment oncological follow-up
🎓 Qualifications and Requirements
- MBBS + MD Radiation Oncology or DNB Radiation Oncology from a recognized institution
- 4 - 14 Years of post-MD radiation oncology practice
- TNMC and AERB radiation safety certification mandatory
- Competency in CT simulation, target delineation, and advanced radiation techniques (IMRT, VMAT, IGRT)
- SRS/SBRT experience preferred for hospitals with Cyberknife, Tomotherapy, or TrueBeam STx
- Brachytherapy experience (intracavitary, LDR/HDR) preferred
