📌 Key Responsibilities

• Operate SMT pick-and-place machines to mount components on PCBs as per work instructions
• Load and unload PCB panels on SMT conveyors and reflow ovens
• Perform solder paste printing using stencil printer and inspect paste deposition
• Feed component reels and trays accurately into feeder slots
• Carry out first-article inspection and in-process visual checks
• Report machine alarms and component shortages to the process engineer
• Follow ESD precautions and wear appropriate ESD wrist straps and footwear
• Maintain SMT line cleanliness and assist in changeover activities

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• ITI or Diploma in Electronics and Communication Engineering
• Prior exposure to SMT assembly line operations preferred
• Basic understanding of SMT component types - 0402, 0603, QFP, BGA
• Ability to read and follow assembly work instructions and travellers
• Familiarity with ESD control practices in an electronics production environment
• Physical dexterity for handling small surface mount components
• Willingness to work in shifts in a cleanroom-adjacent production area
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Chennai.
