📌 Key Responsibilities

• Monitor spot and futures prices for agri commodities on NCDEX, MCX, and physical mandi markets relevant to the company's trading portfolio
• Identify commodity procurement opportunities, negotiate purchase prices with aggregators, traders, and mandi commission agents
• Execute commodity purchase orders within approved price bands and risk parameters and coordinate logistics for commodity movement
• Track commodity supply and demand fundamentals, crop production estimates, weather impacts, and government policy changes affecting price
• Manage commodity price risk through hedging strategies using futures contracts on NCDEX or MCX as directed by the trading manager
• Prepare daily and weekly market intelligence reports covering commodity price movements, procurement cost trends, and margin analysis
• Coordinate with quality, logistics, and finance teams for commodity receipt, payment, storage, and onward dispatch to customers

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• Which agri commodities have you traded or tracked - cereals, pulses, oilseeds, or spices?
• Are you familiar with NCDEX or MCX commodity futures contract specifications and trading mechanics?
• How do you identify a commodity procurement opportunity and decide the right entry price?
• Have you managed commodity price risk through futures hedging?
• How do you track mandi prices and physical market supply-demand fundamentals?
• Have you dealt with commission agents and aggregators in physical agri markets?
• Are you comfortable preparing commodity market intelligence reports for management?
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Coimbatore.
